Fourth of July vacation at Raquette Lake

Although a week late, here are some of our memories from a great, but hot, week at Raquette Lake around the 4th of July. The lake water was 79 degrees during our trip, which prompted an afternoon float almost every day- some days it included Gram and even Aunt Susan- who never gets in the lake prior to August!
Lots of time in the lake... and the sand... and the mud...

Singing "Wheels on the Bus" with Gram on the porch:
An attempt at a family picture during the 4th of July picnic at Green Point: And a few seconds later... Relaxing on a boat cruise: Kaitlyn loved driving the boat (no surprise) and wanted to try and steer it herself. Paul drove our couch (his boat, which has bumpers, ropes, a throtle and steering wheel) from town to the house, loads up his gator with "groceries" (every toy in the living room shoved into grocery store bags) and repeated this trip several times today.
Paul and Paul III on our golfing adventure- to a '9' hole course built by one of my parents' neihbors... clubhouse, golf carts and all!
Kaitlyn 'helping' to get the water jugs ready for a trip to the spring (she played with these all the time... and got "good" at taking off their tops!)

Paul III and Kaitlyn showing off their bellies, which got so prevalent that I intentionally dressed Kaitlyn in onesie-style outfits for the first few days at daycare since she is so proud of showing off her belly (or more so that she can say it!).
Uh oh- BB's going to put masking tape on our bellies- watch out!

Oh, yes, just a few great memory photos of an outstanding vacation and more to come. Especially looking forward to Paul III's swimming expertise. Miss you all always, but will see you in August.
