More Vacation Memories- Lake Sunapee

The vacation fun continued with our week in NH- still with great weather!
The boys as Uncle Chris was headed home- which made little Paul quite sad:
Mommy and Kate hanging out at the beach:
Kate and PopPop at the beach:
Kate and Nana at the beach (this was during her one morning at the beach!):
Paul proudly displaying his load of sand:
Paul having a pizza picnic lunch after swimming- okay, digging- all morning:
Uncle Chris and his neice- of course she has on her "I Love My Uncle" bib:
Paul, Nana and PopPop lounging in the hammock- he loved it once he got comfortable:
Paul III giving me a "haircut"... using markers and some other items to cut and dry:
Three members of our family in the lake- with shovels and rakes, of course:
"UNCLE CHI, DIG IN THE SAND WITH ME!!"

My favorite things to do on vacation

Paul III:
Dig in the sand- at Lake Sunapee, NH
Dig in the sand- at Raquette Lake, NY
Drive the boat (at Raquette Lake, NY)
Eat!! Ice Cream and Birthday Cake (an early treat for mommy) with Gram and BB at Raquette Lake, NY
Make yummy ice cream sandwiches from Oreo Cookie crumbles with Nana
Dig in the sand with Uncle Chris in NH (notice a trend here?)
Kate:
Hang out at the beach (taking after mommy!) in NH.
Sit up on my own (don't you dare lie me on my back... I want to sit up- and will let you hear about it!).
Go for a swim- even though the water was chilly, I did well.
Do standing up exercises with Pop Pop (not pictured, but this one was cute anyway)
Paul Jr. and Leigh Anne:
Spending time with our families (Kate was already asleep on this gorgeous night at Raquette Lake when we went for a post-dinner boat ride)

Happy Memorial Day!

Hope everyone enjoyed the Memorial Day weekend- Paul is trying to make some concoction to put on our hamburgers tonight and I'm scared. His first try included red wine vinegar, brown sugar, tomatoes, onions, crushed red pepper, worstechire sauce....now the mayo is out of the fridge...

Uncle Ryan moved into his apartment in Gburg for the summer so we saw him and Nana over the weekend, which of course meant more outdoor playtime for little Paul and Uncle Ry- including some time with the soccer goals we got for him and the great little-Paul sized golf clubs from Uncle Ry!
Kaitlyn has had a few days with lots of smiles- including some big smiles in her Memorial Day shirt... which lasted about 30 minutes until it headed to the laundry pile.

Easter in NJ

We had a great trip to see Nana, PopPop, Uncle Chris and Uncle Ryan this weekend in NJ. Everyone was a good traveler (whew!) and we got home safely Sunday afternoon to finish watching the Masters.Paul enjoyed many Easter egg hunts, both inside and out. There was a trail of eggs from his room to his easter basket on Sunday morning, although he picked up whatever eggs he saw first!
There was also a fair amount of "uncle torture"- Uncle Ryan was rolled across the front yard at one point. We even got to spend a special Easter dinner with Aunt Mary Ellen, Uncle Bill, Katherine and Megan.
