Paul knows ice cream

Funny story from Daddy tonight. After dinner tonight I asked Paul III if he wanted Ice Cream. Of course he shook his head yes. So we got him out of his chair and he immediately walked over to my green chair (where we eat ice cream) and climbed up waiting for me to bring the bowl and big boy spoon over.

Daddy Turns 30

Saturday was Dad's 30th birthday. We celebrated with Grandpa (new nickname Pop Pop) and Grandma (new nickname Mop Mop) Redfern visiting and in a surprise appearance Uncle Ryan came down from College. We had a good time as you can see by these pictures.

The little gardener....

Paul seems to have taken quite a liking to watering our plants, especially one daffodil that got so much attention Gram Bennett decided it needed to be cut- it's now by the kitchen sink. Here are some fun pictures of Paul and his gardening Grandma from Saturday afternoon- what a beautiful day!

This weekend we're getting ready to celebrate daddy's big birthday... # 3-0!

Daddy is home

Daddy is home from San Diego and we had a really good Sunday and a fun Monday night. Mommy is at a high school counselor dinner on campus tonight so Paul and I came home and played before dinner. I made him left over Chix, broccoli, and tomatoes that Gram Bennett had left for us. We also had some ice cream in the living room afterwards. We are looking forward to seeing Grandma and Grandpa Redfern this weekend!

Happy 30th birthday Aunt Kerry!

Hi everyone- a quiet evening at home for mommy and Paul after a busy day at work for mommy and a long day for Paul at daycare (he's still been a bit cranky and has been wanting the undivided attention of his teachers). Yet after dinner Paul had a great time playing with "his" plastic containers in the kitchen.

Paul gets to spend Friday night at Gram and BB Bennett's house as mommy has to be at a work open house very early Saturday morning thorugh mid-afternoon- then daddy comes home! Today is also the birthday of a very special person in Paul's life- his godmother, Aunt Kerry! Happy Birthday!

Wish you were here....

What a messy dinner at our house tonight- mommy had some chili (thanks, Gram Moose) for little Paul- of course on bath night so that he could get all cleand up!

Mommy also asked little Paul to blow daddy a kiss all the way to CA- I tried to catch him in "mid-throw." I'm sure the kiss made it all the way there.

On an ear update - we were at the ear doctor's today and Paul's tubes are starting to fall out, so we'll keep our fingers crossed that they will have done their trick. He was happily playing at the dr's office (including pushing a chair around the exam room- much better than trying to grab at all of the equipment) so the doctor laughed that he seemed to be in good spirits.

Final 4

Paul III and Daddy and Mommy had a great weekend. Friday night we came home and had dinner with Grandpa BB and Gram. Saturday we did some shopping at Lowe's and picked up 2 new trees to replace some dead ones in the back. Paul III had a good time riding back to Aspers with them. You can see two pictures below of Paul reading his new favorite book with Dad that has all sorts of pictures in it and Paul's new trick climbing on his toy bin to get a better view out the window.
