Double high fives

Mommy is at PACAC her state professional organizations annual conference and Daddy is home along with Paul III.

Tonight Paul learned how to do "double high fives". He earned those when he put all the shapes correctly through the filter into the red box.

Go PAUL!!!!

When you leave daddy alone...

This is what you find........ need I say more?

Earlier in the evening there was some good tickling of little Paul.....

Happy Father's Day

What a special father's day- we got to see all of our dads! Little Paul and daddy even dressed alike for dinner with Gram and BB (with "matching" shirts mommy got them for father's day). As you can see, Little Paul was not terribly good at staying still for pictures....

A weekend with Nana and Pop Pop

What a great weekend for Paul III- he got to hang out and play at home with Nana and Pop Pop Redfern. They played with water balloons, read new books, played in the pool, drew with sidewalk chalk and enjoyed some fun meals together.

Mommy and daddy were lucky enough to have spent (a hot!) Saturday at the Jimmy Buffett concert in Philadelphia with Dave, Angie, Aunt Kerry, and other friends- what a great time. We continued to be amazed by how in-depth people will go with their set-ups at Buffett concerts.

My first popsicle

Gram had grape, Paul had orange and mommy's was cherry.
oohhh--- Paul took too big of a piece :)

Shish kabobs for dinner - or "bahbs"

Saturday monrning daddy decided to make shish kabobs for us to have for dinner Saturday night... it became a family event as we all helped to prepare the "bahbs," as Paul described them. They were quite yummy, although we may have given Paul a few too many peppers which we realized this morning.....

Playing in the pool

In case you haven't been outside, an August-style heatwave has hit the northeast. To cool off over the weekend, we got out Paul's little pool both afternoons. It was quite a hit! Of course mommy thought it was important to adjust the slide so that it would go into the pool. Gram also enjoyed the cool water with Paul this afternoon.

Haircut

Daddy was a little under the weather today but Mommy had a great day off playing golf with Gram and BB. Later on Paul and Gram helped Mommy plant a pumpkin patch in the back yard as well as some marigolds. You can see the haircut Mommy gave Paul the other night in this picture as well as reading a card from Pop Pop and Nanny Redfern.

Some new words and songs

The college is closed today and tomorrow so Mommy and Daddy have been home getting some household chores done. We actually got to hang up some of Paul's artwork in his room today - which he seemed to like. Below you can see a picture of Paul saying Mom is #1.

He is also learning some new words over the weekend Paul said his name Paul (Pahwl) and he sings the nawny naw song that Nanny Redfern sung him last weekend.
