My new big chair, by Kaitlyn

Earlier this month Kaitlyn moved from her high chair into a booster seat. She LOVES it and seems quite proud to be able to eat with the 'adults'.
Once she is done eating, she likes to 'talk' to her friends on her placemat (not in this picture), so Elmo and his buddies often get pointed out to us (for right now most of them are 'ehmoah').

Cooking with Paul and Paul III

This past weekend daddy made one of his favorite meals- whole wheat pasta with tomatoes, spinach, white wine and garlic.... mmmm......

Paul III helped, as he often likes to do and was very proud to help stir.

Fourth of July vacation at Raquette Lake

Although a week late, here are some of our memories from a great, but hot, week at Raquette Lake around the 4th of July. The lake water was 79 degrees during our trip, which prompted an afternoon float almost every day- some days it included Gram and even Aunt Susan- who never gets in the lake prior to August!
Lots of time in the lake... and the sand... and the mud...

Singing "Wheels on the Bus" with Gram on the porch:
An attempt at a family picture during the 4th of July picnic at Green Point: And a few seconds later... Relaxing on a boat cruise: Kaitlyn loved driving the boat (no surprise) and wanted to try and steer it herself. Paul drove our couch (his boat, which has bumpers, ropes, a throtle and steering wheel) from town to the house, loads up his gator with "groceries" (every toy in the living room shoved into grocery store bags) and repeated this trip several times today.
Paul and Paul III on our golfing adventure- to a '9' hole course built by one of my parents' neihbors... clubhouse, golf carts and all!
Kaitlyn 'helping' to get the water jugs ready for a trip to the spring (she played with these all the time... and got "good" at taking off their tops!)

Paul III and Kaitlyn showing off their bellies, which got so prevalent that I intentionally dressed Kaitlyn in onesie-style outfits for the first few days at daycare since she is so proud of showing off her belly (or more so that she can say it!).
Uh oh- BB's going to put masking tape on our bellies- watch out!

Video of Kate driving the Boat on Raquette Lake

Here is the first of many memories of a very hot week at Raquette Lake:

We were on a boat ride to get ice cream in town after dinner on Thursday night.. mmm... Paul got strawberry, Kaitlyn got vanilla, and I learned that trying to hold your own cone of cookie dough is very tough when your one-year old is running away from you towards the dock!
