Kate in the big bathtub

Kaitlyn has recently been attempting to climb up and out of her baby bathtub, so tonight we took advantage of little Paul's dinner and sleepover with Gram to allow Kaitlyn to test out the big girl bathtub without her loving (and 'helpful') older brother..... at first she was really curious about this new setting,
but then she loved it!
She tried quite hard to capture this fish...

Week and Weekend Review

Let's just say that the weekend at the Redferns went much better than last week- Paul III, then Kaitlyn and then I were each under the weather. Fortunately we all seem to be healthy again and daddy is plowing through unphased.
Little Paul enjoys 'helping' to feed Kaitlyn (from time to time)- he likes to give her the first few bites and then realizes his own food is waiting:
Kaitlyn was hanging out in her play seat- it comes with lots of 'toys' but her favortie thing to do is to take out the two little cups (meant for snacks for bigger babies) and bang them around- the bumble bee was taking a beating in this picture:
Why have toys? I can just stand up on the Huggies box... The boys at breakfast (soon afterwards little Paul "read" the sports section):

Giants Gameday and Kaitlyn on the move...

Today was daddy's first Sunday of football season- here is a recap of his attempts to get the rest of us into the spirit.
Paul after a trip to 7-11 ("the donut store") where he sampled some of the pink donut on the way home- in his Giants shirt, of course.

Kaitlyn moving a little too much for the parents' liking (she almost refuses to sit down!). Note the spread hands holding onto the couch and the puddle of drool left on the couch- she went through 6 bibs today.

Happy Birthday Uncle Ryan

I picked Paul III up early from school and we rode up to Susquehanna University this afterboon.

We spent the evening with dinner at BJ's and then cupcakes in a dorm to celebrate #21 for Uncle Ryan. Here is a picture posted right from the dorm room from our dinner.
