Redfern Family to Endorse McCain

The Redfern family announced today in a joint press release that they are officially endorsing Arizona Senator John McCain (R) for President. Citing his "tremendous leadership" and "sensible problem solving skill" they promised to be on the campaign trail in Adams County to help McCain. This endorsement on the heels of a win in Florida should help to propel McCain to the nomination.

Daddy's Home

Let the tickling begin- daddy got home safely this afternoon, and even ran into Brian Keane (Julia and Matthew's daddy) at the Baltimore airport! It was nice to have both mommy and daddy at home tonight and to put me to bed.

Hi daddy- it's bath time!

What a fun few days I've had- mommy was in Puerto Rico and got back today and daddy will be back on Wednesday, so I stayed with Gram and BB for the past four days. I had so much fun! I also got down the "I love you" sign and gave it to Gram as she left today.

Mommy took these pictures as I was getting ready for the bath tonight so that daddy can feel like he's here with us :) I love the bath and run towards it every night.

Chili and Uncle Chris

Sorry for not updating everyone recently- mommy and daddy will try to get more posts in the next few weeks. I've been very playful the past few weeks so mommy and daddy have been enjoying my good spirits rather than grabbing the camera :) Uncle Chris was here this weekend and I had tons of fun with him. I showed him how much chili I could get on my face at lunch today and showed off my new game with daddy where I go for a ride on the kitchen floor (mommy thanked me for helping to clean it for her with my pants!).

Good news from my ear tubes, we think- I've had a cold for a bit and the past few days I've had lots of goop draining from my ears (especially the left one when I wake up). Mommy takes me back to the ENT doctor tomorrow for my post-op visit so we're thinking this is good news and all the goop that used to cause my ear infections is now able to drain out. Did you ever think that ear goop would be good?!

The Fan- and other items

Paul has been adventuring into the world of "baby signs" recently (although we've been trying to teach him some for a while. Recently the fan in the living room (the sign pictured) has been a favorite. He also does well with "all done", lots of "bye bye's" and "hi's", and "lights". It is so exciting to be "talking" with him this way as his favorite "real" words are "daah" and lots of babbling.

Let's Go Giants!

Daddy and Paul had a fun weekend together and cheered on the Giants Sunday afternoon-Paul even woke up extra early from his nap to "watch" the game (which wasn't good news for mommy who had just gotten back from a trip to see her girlfriends in NYC and was hoping to catch a nap herself!). Daddy and Paul even went out for a pre-game breakfast at Perkins that morning.... although they sat next to some Steelers fans!
