Lets go Mets

The mets have lost 4 in a row (all to the Phillies) but that's ok Paul III and Dad are still fans.

Crying

Paul Wayne has had a stuffy nose all weekend and was not happy this morning when daddy wouldn't let him play with the camera (we are SUCH mean parents!).

Mommy's Birthday

Today was mommy's 29th birthday. Daddy and I took her to lunch and then did some shopping (daddy's favorite part) and we're going to make her breakfast tomorrow morning. Although several times today I kept saying "da da" which daddy translated as 'happy birthday mom'....and daddy tried not to smile too much when he heard his name :) Make sure to check me out trying to steal the spoon from daddy while he was looking at the camera!

New Foods

We have been introducing new foods to Paul this week. He has been eating cheddar cheese sticks and here is a picture of him eating some wagoon wheel pasta that Dad cooked for him. We are hoping to try cottage cheese later this week.

Bath Time

Here is a picture of Paul III (with some creative editing from Dad) in the bath from the other night. As you can see he is getting big enough to be in the "big boy" tub.

First haircut

After reading some of the comments from the August 12 post about mom and dad Bennett's new house and the need for a haircut Leigh-Anne did the honors this morning.

Paul III was not a happy camper. However he had smiles on his face when he woke up from his nap and Dad had gotten him a new toy.

Good luck to Uncle Ryan who is off to Susquehanna University this week!

Gram and Grandpa BB's new house

What a busy weekend! My grandparents were staying with me- their new house in Gettysburg is done and they'll be here for the "big move" in October. I really like their new house and we all had lunch there on Saturday (my high chair was, and still is, the only piece of furntiture in the house).

Raquette Lake New York with the Bennetts

We spent the first week of August back in Raquette Lake NY where Mommy grew up in the summer time. We spent almost every day in the water and Paul III did a great job walking (with some help) and standing for a few seconds on his own. We got back late last night and are happy to be home. Here is a picture of Paul III standing on the deck after a hike and the view he had from his high chair during dinner one evening.

Lake Sunapee, New Hampshire with the Redferns

We spent the last week of July with the Redferns at Oakledge in NH where daddy and his family went on vacation for years. We had a great time and little Paul particularly loved playing with his Great Grandmothers' walker (he would crawl as fast as he could each morning towards her!)-he used it as his own personal jungle gym. Here is a picture of Paul III in the pot we used to cook lobster one night as well as a picture with Grandpa Fern in his new hammock.
